“The Ideal Barcelona Back-Four After Araujo’s Return From Injury”
Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo is nearing the final stages of his recovery from a hamstring injury that sidelined him at the beginning of the season, according to AS. It’s anticipated that he will receive clearance from the club’s medical team next week, making him available for the match against Celta Vigo on September 23.
While there is a possibility Araujo could play in the game against Royal Antwerp on September 19, the coaching staff is inclined to avoid any risks and prefers not to rush his return.
Once Araujo is back in action, Barcelona manager Xavi is likely to move Andreas Christensen to the bench. Xavi’s ideal starting back four will consist of Joao Cancelo, Jules Kounde, Araujo, and Alejandro Balde.
Araujo, the Uruguayan defender, has been sidelined since mid-August but is expected to regain his spot as a regular starter upon his return.
