How many players represented by Carles Puyol’s agency are currently at Barcelona?

When a Barca legend sets up an agency, you’d expect most of the players he manages to play for the Blaugrana.

Is that the case with Carles Puyol and the agency he owns with former Espanyol player Ivan de la Pena, De La Pena & Sostres? Let’s find out!

According to Transfermarkt, De La Pena & Sostres are currently managing ten players. A lot of them have come through the ranks at La Masia but surprisingly, only two – Gavi and Aleix Garrido – are at Barca. While Gavi is a regular senior team member, Garrido is yet to be established as such. The 19-year-old made his senior debut against Elche this year, and Xavi sees him as someone who can replace Pedri when needed.

So, despite Carles Puyol’s involvement in player management, the majority of the players he represents are not currently part of the Barcelona squad.
