Gavi: ‘Achieving success is the ultimate goal’
“In the end, it makes no sense to do well if you don’t win. What we want is to win, and we weren’t able to do it,” Gavi told the media after the 2-1 loss to Real Madrid.
“I have very bad feelings, because we deserved to win the game but got punished twice for our mistakes. La Liga is long, we have to continue,” he added.
Gavi was arguably the best player on the pitch in the defeat. The youngster won lots of duels and completed many tackles, largely contributing to Barca’s dominant play in the first half.
It’s fair to say the 19-year-old fought for every ball and was the soul of the team once again.
