Heartening Visit from Fundació Barça to Mapi León

Mapi León received a touching visit during one of her rehabilitation sessions at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper facilities, where she is recovering from a meniscus injury. Members of the Fundació Barça team, participating in LaLiga Genuine, showed their support and solidarity to the defender during one of the challenging moments in her career. Representatives from the team surprised Mapi León by presenting her with a framed collage of images capturing the visit she and Ronald Araujo made to one of the Fundació Barça training sessions. Both players serve as ambassadors for the team in the 2023-24 season.

The Aragonese player, a key figure in Jonatan Giráldez’s plans, has been sidelined since mid-December due to a meniscus tear in her right knee, sustained during a training session ahead of the league match against Éibar (5-0) on matchday 11. While there is no set date for her return, the central defender is diligently working to expedite her reintegration into the group. Her progress will determine her availability, although it remains highly unlikely for her to make a comeback in the current campaign.
