Kvaratskhelia’s Agent Discusses Barcelona’s Interest Amid European Club Pursuit

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, one of the most sought-after wingers in the European market, has become a target for several clubs, with Barcelona expressing interest in the Georgian star who currently plays for Napoli.

His agent, Mamuka Dzhugelia, addressed these offers in an interview with the Russian outlet Championat. “Barcelona and PSG? Of course, there are offers for Khvicha from some of the top clubs. Just look at him! How is it possible that there are no proposals?”

Kvaratskhelia is under contract with Napoli until 2027, and the Italian club is eager to extend his stay. Barcelona considers him an option for the left-wing position alongside Mitoma and Rafael Leao. PSG, also interested in the Portuguese player, could recruit him as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappé.

Despite a standout season under Spalletti, Kvaratskhelia has not been in peak form this year. He was substituted in the match against Barcelona with the team trailing, although there were no reported physical issues.

According to his agent, Dzhugelia, no decisions will be made just yet. “The situation will become clearer in May.” The outcome of Napoli’s season, currently in ninth place, will play a crucial role in determining the future of ‘Kvara.’
