Laporta Officially Launches Barça One, the Club’s New Television Platform
The unveiling of the documentary “Orígens | Araujo” served as the official announcement for the launch of Barça One. Following the closure of Barça TV, the club is revitalizing its audiovisual offering through a modern platform with Barcelona-centric content. President Joan Laporta expressed his pride, stating, “I am very proud to announce that this April, we will launch the Barça One platform, open and free. The best platform of any football club.” Laporta highlighted the initiative as “Barça fans will have access to the best audiovisual selection from the club,” emphasizing that it’s also “a new revenue stream for the club.”
Laporta emphasized, “It is a platform that will democratize Barça’s audiovisual content globally. We can watch live press conferences, documentaries, training sessions, programs. It will undoubtedly be a platform and a reference medium for all Culés. We will have information and entertainment at all times. We will have Barça 24 hours a day, wherever we are.”
Therefore, fans will regain a way to stay updated on the club’s events after the void left by the closure of Barça TV.
