Xavi Expresses Interest in Loan Move for Star Player at Odds with His Coach Not Kimmich

Barcelona has expressed interest in securing the services of Jadon Sancho on loan during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to reports from Sport.

Jadon Sancho, the English international, has found himself in a contentious situation with Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag and is reportedly exploring options to leave the club.

The issue arose when Sancho voiced his frustration over his role on the bench. The Dutch manager cited Sancho’s training habits as the reason for his limited playing time, indicating a lack of commitment. Sancho, however, publicly disputed this claim.

In a now-deleted social media post that was initially pinned to his profile, Sancho stated, “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that [are] completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t get into; I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time, which isn’t fair!”

Reports suggest that Xavi, Barcelona’s head coach, is keen on bringing Sancho to Montjuic as he seeks to strengthen the left-wing position in the team’s attack.

Last season, the 23-year-old winger scored seven goals and provided three assists in 41 appearances for Manchester United.
