“He talked to me about it before the game”: Joao Felix highlights Barca’s concerns regarding Lewandowski
“I tried to stay close to Lewandowski [during the Real Betis game], so he wouldn’t be isolated in attack,” Joao Felix told the media after Barcelona won 5-0.
“The striker can’t be left alone like that. He talked to me about it at the start of the match.
“The important thing is that Lewandowski scores. He’s a striker and strikers live off goals,” the Portuguese also said.
Robert Lewandowski’s link with Joao Felix seemed impressive. In one of the episodes, the Portuguese masterfully skipped the ball to allow Andreas Christensen’s through ball to get to the Pole – and the latter scored.
Earlier, Lewandowski complained that Barca don’t play attacking football as much as they should, hinting that he should be supported better on the pitch.
