Araujo Credits Xavi’s Tactical Brilliance as Barcelona Prevail Against Real Sociedad

Ronald Araujo openly acknowledged that Real Sociedad outperformed Barcelona in Saturday’s match, but he attributed their victory to Xavi Hernandez’s tactical expertise.

Araujo expressed, “These three points hold significant value, especially after the Clasico. It was crucial to secure these points. Real Sociedad played exceptionally well; they are a formidable team, and we faced considerable challenges. Our performance in the first half was subpar, but we improved slightly in the second.”

He went on to praise Real Sociedad’s effective press and their ability to handle Barcelona’s high-pressure tactics, which had been meticulously worked on in training.

Araujo continued, “Xavi made adjustments during halftime, and I believe it made a noticeable difference. There are matches that demand victory, and this was one of them.
