Mbacke Fall, the 20-year-old Senegalese central defender who previously played for Villarreal, arrived at Barcelona on loan from Los Angeles FC this summer after delivering noteworthy performances in Major League Soccer. However, as reported by MD, he faced delays in making his debut due to bureaucratic issues.
His moment finally arrived on Sunday, perfectly timed with Pau Cubarsi’s departure for the under-17 World Cup. Mbacke Fall entered the pitch in the 64th minute, replacing Sergi Dominguez, and seamlessly slotted into the defense alongside compatriot Mika Faye. Together, they contributed to Barcelona Atletic’s 2-1 victory over Rayo Majadahonda.
