Lionel Messi has confirmed suffering a muscular injury during Argentina’s recent 1-0 victory over Brazil. Expressing hope that the injury is not severe, Messi shared his plans for recovery and preparation for 2024.
“I hope my injury is not that serious, now I will go and rest and I will prepare for 2024 in the best way possible,” Messi stated. He also revealed extended stay in Miami for his children’s schooling before heading to Argentina for vacation.
This injury marks the third instance of Messi grappling with muscular problems since September. The Argentine star previously missed six games for Inter Miami due to two separate muscle injuries.
