Legal Woes for Samuel Eto’o as Milan Prosecutor Investigates Family Support Obligations
Corriere della Sera reports that Milan’s Prosecutor Office is currently investigating former football star Samuel Eto’o for alleged violations of family support obligations. The investigation stems from a report filed by his 21-year-old daughter, Annie, who, according to sources, is not economically independent and relies on her mother for financial support.
Annie has taken legal action against Eto’o, citing his repeated absence and failure to fulfill family support obligations. The Cameroonian football legend reportedly had a short-term relationship with Annie’s mother during his time with Mallorca.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Eto’o has faced such legal troubles. Another biological daughter recently sued him for the same reasons, leading to a settlement of €90,000. The 42-year-old, renowned for his prolific stint with Barcelona from 2004 to 2009, where he scored 130 goals and provided 40 assists, currently serves as the president of the Cameroon FA.
