FC Barcelona Women Aim to Extend Dominance Against Struggling Real Betis

FC Barcelona resumes its journey in the F League after clinching the Supercopa title and advancing to the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarterfinals as the group leader.

Giráldez’s Insights: In the pre-match statements to the club, Jonatan Giráldez emphasized, “We have an opportunity to build on the good sensations from the Supercopa and the Champions League, to keep collecting three points, to maintain that distance. What depends on us is to compete to win, and we will fight for this.”

He added, “When you play so many games in such a short time, you have to use many players. We’ve had a significant workload in the last three matches. In the Supercopa, we were able to rest some players, and also against Eintracht. We’ll make some changes to give continuity to players who are training very well and entering in the second halves.”
