Lamine Yamal Shines as Emerging Star at the ’26th Festa de L’Esport Català’

One of the standout stars at the ’26th Festa de L’Esport Català’ gala was undoubtedly Lamine Yamal. The Mataró-born player has emerged as one of the brightest talents in world football and has solidified his place in FC Barcelona’s first team at just 16 years old. Notably, he made his official debut at the age of 15 years, 9 months, and 16 days, with Xavi showing unwavering confidence in him despite his young age.

Lamine attended the America’s Cup Experience (iMAX, Port Vell de Barcelona) this evening to receive the award for the male athlete with the most potential. His presence created a buzz at this gala organized by SPORT and UFEC (Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya).
