Barcelona has officially announced the signing of promising left-back Alexander Dimitri Walton, beating out competition from Real Betis. The 17-year-old, of English descent, previously played as a left-back for Escola Gavà’s Juvenil A, featuring in 8 league matches. With numerous injuries and player promotions affecting the Juvenil B squad, Barça seized the opportunity to bring in Walton mid-season.

While Betis was close to acquiring the talented left-back, Walton ultimately chose Barcelona, marking a significant step forward in his career.
