Bernd Reichart, the CEO of the Super League, chose not to comment on the words of the Barça president regarding the teams involved in the new competition. Reichart is asked about how he received the ‘spoiler’ from the FC Barcelona president when he revealed some of the names that had allegedly confirmed their presence in the upcoming Super League. The CEO of the new competition is clear that he doesn’t want any trouble with one of the clubs that has resisted all pressures.

“Joan Laporta is the president of one of the biggest clubs in the world, and for me, it’s encouraging to see such a large club so excited about the Super League and eager for it to start. But I have my job to do, especially after the European Court of Justice ruling,” said Reichart, delicately addressing Laporta’s revelation of participating clubs and avoiding an analysis of subsequent denials.

The interview does not reveal significant updates regarding the Super League project, emphasizing that the Unify project will make the new competition profitable. “Our platform’s revenue model is based on advertising because Unify is attractive due to the vast potential audience and the fact that it has a specific viewership. This meets the needs of big brands willing to pay more for targeted objectives. The other side of the business is services: once fans reach the platform, we know they may want something more, and we can offer them the services that interest them the most.
