FC Barcelona Unveils Vintage Inspired 2024-25 Kit: A Nod to Centennial Legacy
The user @memorabilia1899 has revealed the first images of FC Barcelona’s 2024-25 jersey, commemorating the club’s 125th anniversary. The kit draws inspiration from the iconic 1998-99 Centenary season and the 1999-00 design, harking back to the inaugural 1899 kit with its distinctive half-blue and half-garnet pattern. Embracing a minimalist aesthetic, the new jersey exudes simplicity and a vintage flair, a departure from the bold designs of recent years.
The FC Barcelona crest maintains its position on the chest, echoing the layout from the Centenari jersey, displacing the Nike logo. The back of the shirt will feature the sponsorship of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, as seen in the leaked images.
These images surface at a time when the Barça-Nike partnership appears to be in a period of uncertainty. President Laporta hinted at this in a recent interview on RAC1, where he even entertained questions about the possibility of other brands, such as Puma, taking over in the future.
