Laporta’s Enthusiastic Reception in Bilbao as Xavi Recreates Formula at San Mamés

FC Barcelona has already arrived in Bilbao for tonight’s match against Athletic, starting at nine. The Barcelona squad reached their concentration hotel around noon, greeted by about 150 fans. They are aware that Real Madrid’s draw in Mestalla gives them a good chance to narrow the gap to three points and continue to contend for the title.

The focal point of the team’s arrival at the concentration hotel was President Joan Laporta. He received an enthusiastic reception, although he refrained from answering journalists’ questions about the events in Mestalla or expressing his thoughts on the ongoing title race. Laporta did, however, sign autographs and jerseys for Barça fans who requested them, along with posing for several photos.
