Spain Announces New Jersey Numbers for Cubarsí and Lamine
Spain has confirmed the jersey numbers for the upcoming friendly matches this Friday and next Tuesday. “La Roja” will face Colombia in London and Brazil in Madrid, in a match against racism.
Pau Cubarsí has been the standout player in recent months and could make his debut for the national team during this break. It’s also the first call-up for Dani Vivian, who has established himself as one of the category’s best. The Catalan center-back has been the most striking figure in the camp. At 17 years old, he is the second youngest after his Barcelona teammate Lamine Yamal.
The number of caps allows players to choose their jersey numbers, so Cubarsí has chosen 26 and Vivian 25. Dani Olmo has taken the number 10, resulting in Nico Williams wearing 11. The same applies to Pablo Sarabia, who, by reclaiming the number 17, sees Lamine Yamal wearing 19. Marc Cucurella opts for number 2 and Pedro Porro for 24.
