Barcelona Officially Announces Repeat Tour in the United States

Barcelona has officially confirmed what has been an open secret for months – the club will return to the United States next summer for a preseason tour, marking their third consecutive visit to North American territory. The Blaugrana have announced that they will play three friendly matches, all on the East Coast.

The team will depart on July 28th to Orlando, where their journey will commence, followed by visits to New Jersey and Baltimore. The lineup promises to be prestigious as Barcelona will face Manchester City (July 30th), Real Madrid (August 3rd), and AC Milan (August 6th). The venues for these matches will be Orlando, New Jersey, and Baltimore, respectively.

Last year, the Barcelona expedition traveled through Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Dallas (although there was no match against Juventus in Santa Clara due to the indisposition of a significant portion of the squad). In addition to the revenue generated from the friendlies, the club also plans to engage in various institutional and social activities to further expand its presence in the American market.

The match against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will take place at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, a venue with a capacity of 60,219 spectators that hosted several matches during the 1994 FIFA World Cup. This encounter, barring a meeting in the Champions League final, will be the second time the teams face off since the charity friendly organized for ALS patients on August 24, 2022, at the Spotify Camp Nou, spearheaded by Juan Carlos Unzué.
