Foios native learned about the conservation efforts of the facility in protecting these animals.
Ferran Torres visited the Valencia Oceanogràfic on Thursday, immersing himself in the world of sharks before the crucial double clash against PSG, a tie for which the attacker will be fully recovered. The Barcelona forward actively showed his support for the Valencia aquarium’s efforts in the protection and conservation of sharks. During the visit, Torres had the opportunity to explore the iconic shark and ray tunnel of the Oceanogràfic and learn about the projects the marine center undertakes to protect these majestic animals and debunk the myths surrounding them. Ferran Torres and the Oceanogràfic of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències de Valencia have formalized a collaboration agreement to promote marine conservation and increase public awareness about the importance of preserving these iconic animals, crucial for our seas and oceans. The Foios-born footballer has also been serving as an ambassador for the Kick Out Plastic Foundation for three years, which works towards sustainability and the elimination of single-use plastics.
Green Light for the Barça-Las Palmas Match on March 30
Ferran’s visit to Europe’s largest aquarium not only reflects his personal commitment to environmental conservation but also contributes to taking concrete measures to protect the marine environment and raise its visibility. It is worth noting that the Barcelona forward was not included in the current Spanish national team squad to fully recover from his last muscle injury. Upon returning from the break, Ferran will be fully available for Xavi, who will be able to count on him for the match on March 30 at Montjuïc against Las Palmas.
