Barça and PSG Finalize Ticket Distribution for Champions League Quarterfinals
FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have settled the logistics for the crucial Champions League quarterfinal clash. Following UEFA guidelines, both clubs have agreed on the allocation of away tickets and pricing. Additionally, Barcelona has outlined its ticket distribution plan for the first leg in Paris on April 10th.
Unlike disputes over tickets designated for executives and their commitments, allocating tickets to fans has proceeded smoothly. As a result, Barcelona has secured 2,000 tickets for the Parc des Princes, while providing PSG with 2,700 seats at the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc for the return leg on April 16th.
The difference in ticket allocation is due to the higher capacity of Barcelona’s current stadium (55,926) compared to the French champions’ ground (48,583). Consequently, the percentage of tickets allocated is similar, adhering to UEFA requirements and both countries’ security criteria.
Barcelona has detailed the distribution of tickets, aiming to accommodate various groups. 85% of the 2,000 Parc des Princes tickets are reserved for club members and supporters’ clubs, with the remaining 15% (300) allocated for club commitments.
Of the 1,700 tickets for fans, 80% (1,360) are designated for members and 20% (340) for supporters’ clubs. The ticket price for both teams’ fans accessing the Parc des Princes and the Estadi Olímpic has been set at €70 per ticket.
