Two Barcelona Players Named in Catalan National Team Squad
The Catalan Football Federation (FCF) announced this morning the list of players called up for the international match scheduled for Sunday, April 7th (12:00 pm) at the Estadi Municipal de Palamós – Costa Brava against Paraguay. “We look forward to enjoying this day; the players are very excited. These are challenging times because the Spanish national team has many Catalan players, but we have over 60 players of high caliber, and we have chosen the 20 who, at this moment, can contribute what we want: to give visibility to Catalan football and demonstrate that it is in a good moment,” explained Catalan coach Xavi Llorens, acknowledging that he finalized the list half an hour before announcing it publicly.
In the squad of 20 players, we find four players from Levante Las Planas and Sevilla, three from Villarreal, two from Barça, and one each from Manchester City, Brighton, Real Sociedad, Eibar, Espanyol, AEM, and Europa.

Goalkeepers: Esther Sullastres (Sevilla) and Gemma Font (FC Barcelona).
Defenders: Marta Torrejón (FC Barcelona), Débora García (Sevilla), Eva Llamas (Sevilla), Berta Bou (Levante Las Planas), Emma Ramírez (Real Sociedad), Meritxell Martorell (SE AEM), and Leila Ouahabi (Manchester City).
Midfielders: Paola Soldevila (Villarreal), Zaira Flores (Eibar), Vicky Losada (Brighton), Maria Llompart (Villarreal), Queralt Torradeflot (Europa), Cristina Baudet (Levante Las Planas), and Laura Martínez (Levante Las Planas).
