Barring any setbacks, the Canary Islander will soon join group training to assess his readiness for inclusion in the Paris encounter.

Pedri and Frenkie will utilize this practice to evaluate their fitness levels. SPORT previously reported De Jong’s anticipated five-week absence, a timeline that is being adhered to. If the Dutchman feels fit, he’ll make the squad.

Of the trio, Christensen is the most likely to start, with his inclusion expected. De Jong’s role remains uncertain, while Pedri’s prospects for starting are slim. At best, the Las Palmas product may feature in the latter stages of the game.
