Guille Returns to Juvenil B and Shines with 45 Minutes of Outstanding Play

Guille Fernández, the youngest debutant in the history of Barça Atlètic, played the first half of Juvenil B’s triumph (0-1) against Europa. He contributed to Manu Vila’s goal and performed exceptionally as a right midfielder.

After his debut with Barça Atlètic against Osasuna’s reserve team, Guille Fernández returned to his usual team and delivered an impressive 45-minute performance in Juvenil B’s victory against Europa. The Zona Franca player might feature again this Sunday in the Primera Federación with the reserve team (19h Barça Atlètic-Arenteiro) or in the División de Honor Juvenil (12h Juvenil A-Sabadell).

Playing as a right midfielder for 45 minutes, Guille performed excellently in the first half alongside Wesley Dual as the central midfielder and Manu Vila as the left midfielder, supported by Toni as a false right winger. The midfield played a crucial role in the only goal of the match, with Toni and Guille combining to assist Manu Vila, who capitalized on the opportunity to score past goalkeeper Marcos Riaño.

A Well-Deserved Victory The early goal in the 5th minute proved sufficient to secure a well-played match dominated entirely by Barcelona’s Juvenil B team. Although the Blaugrana’s good performance waned in the second half with a more aggressive play from Europa, Max Bonfill saved a chance to equalize.

Under Pol Planas and Eric Campos, the team provisionally sits four points behind Gimnàstic de Manresa, the league leader and Barça’s next opponent.

Continued Progress Guille’s season has been exceptional. As a cadet, he regularly participates in Juvenil B matches, frequently features for Juvenil A, made his debut with Barça Atlètic, and has trained under Xavi.

His potential is immense, but to follow in the footsteps of players like Lamine and Cubarsí, he must continue competing at the highest level while demonstrating discretion and humility to continue progressing.
