PSG Fans Rally Behind Luis Enrique

Luis Enrique has won favor among PSG fans. The latest match against the bottom team brought several headlines. The most notable, the leader’s inability to defeat the bottom team, Clermont. But there were also some banners that pointed to the high regard for the Asturian coach. Among the protagonists of the banners were, besides the Asturian coach, Luis Campos, sporting director, and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president. But there were also some against the former sporting director, Antero Henrique.

One of the banners that caught the attention of the French press was one displayed by the ultras: “Le seul Enrique qu’on veut, c’est Luis” (The only Enrique we want is Luis).

A statement in favor of the Asturian and against the former sporting director. Another banner in favor of the Asturian coach read: “President Nasser, Mr. Campos and coach Enrique, a trio that honors PSG.” On the other hand, former sporting director Antero Henrique was singled out with some unpleasant phrases such as “Antero Henrique, the cancer of PSG.”

PSG fans do not have fond memories of the former sporting director, who experienced several conflicts during his time at the French club and ended up leaving with issues involving Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
