This marks Pepelu’s first season at Valencia and his second season in La Liga. At 25 years old, Pepelu has become one of Valencia’s mainstays and one of the standout players in the domestic league. He has played 34 matches, scoring six goals and providing an assist.
Beyond his statistics and over 3,000 minutes on the pitch, Pepelu’s potential has caught the attention of top clubs, including FC Barcelona. Indeed, he plays in a position that Barcelona aims to strengthen this summer: central midfield. However, his contract ties him to Valencia until June 30, 2028.
