Robert Lewandowski has no intention of leaving FC Barcelona, as he explained to the German newspaper Bild, confirming the information published in SPORT in recent hours. The Polish striker joined FC Barcelona in 2022 from Bayern Munich and is entering his second season with the Catalan club. Given his age and salary, Lewandowski’s continuity has been debated within the board of directors.
The player himself wanted to put an end to rumors about his future: “Leaving Barcelona this summer is absolutely impossible for me; it’s not even a topic for at least two more years,” he told the German newspaper. His contract with Barcelona was for four seasons, so it expires in two seasons.
