La Liga Club Offers Loan to Pablo Torre, Manager with Barcelona Coaching Experience

According to a report from Diario AS, Barcelona is on the verge of finalizing a deal to loan out Pablo Torre to Villarreal. The Blaugrana had made the decision earlier in the season to send Torre on loan exclusively to a La Liga club, and Villarreal emerged as the ideal solution, particularly due to their current manager, former Barcelona coach Quique Setien.

The loan agreement is expected to span a year, with no purchase option included. Consequently, Torre will return to Barcelona in the summer of 2024. It has been confirmed that Villarreal will assume the responsibility of paying Torre’s wages in full during his loan spell.

Barcelona legend Xavi recently praised Pablo Torre as the team’s most proficient set-piece taker and acknowledged his exceptional technical abilities. However, despite his talent, Torre has struggled to secure significant playing time this season.

Throughout the current campaign, the 20-year-old Spaniard has appeared in only 15 matches, starting in just five of them and finding the back of the net on one occasion. In total, Torre has accumulated a mere 565 minutes of playing time on the field.
