This unfortunate event prompted Neymar to step up, taking on the responsibility and becoming the focal point of Barcelona’s attack. Sporting a new shaved-head look and donning his iconic black boots, Neymar delivered sensational performances, scoring 13 goals and providing 9 assists in just 8 games.

The Barca fan regarded this period as one of Neymar’s finest displays. Despite Messi’s absence, Neymar formed an incredible partnership with Luis Suarez, and together, they continued to shine on the pitch. It seemed that either Neymar or Suarez would find the back of the net, carrying the team through those two months without Leo Messi.
