Barcelona’s Offer to Arda Guler and Fenerbahce: Unveiling the Deal’s Specifics

According to reports from Catalonia, Barcelona appears to be at the forefront of the race to secure the services of 18-year-old Turkish prodigy Arda Guler. The club seems willing to go above and beyond the player’s release clause in order to secure the deal.

Guler is said to have a release clause set at €17.5m, but Barcelona is prepared to offer a sum higher than that to capture the attention of Fenerbahce. Additionally, Barcelona plans to allow Guler to remain in Istanbul for the upcoming season, with the condition that they pay a majority of the transfer fee in the following season.

As reported by Sport, should Barcelona succeed in their pursuit, they will pay a sum of €23m for Guler. Furthermore, they will also incur additional costs in commissions, which could amount to a figure as high as €10m. As for the player himself, Guler is expected to sign a five-year contract with Barcelona, featuring an astounding release clause of €1b.
